Do Oil Eating Cleaners Work?

I'm trying to get some old oil out of the concrete in a house I recently purchased. I've seen some cleaners that claim to contain oil eating bacteria like the stuff used to clean beaches up following oil spills.

Has anyone here tried any of these cleaners and did they work for you?

Wow perfect timing as im reading this I'm waiting to see if this gunk brand swab concrete floor cleaner works. I had oil/power steering and trans fluid that didn't come off with a power washer. I'll let you know in about 15 min how this stuff did

The reviews on Amazon are consistently saying that the Pour-n-Restore used to be a good product but that the formula has changed and it doesn't work well any longer. Are you still having good luck with it Justin?

What's the verdict on the Gunk Swab stuff Mike?

powder tide and elbow grease are about the easiest and least inexpensive.

The stuff we regular people can get is no where near what the commercial folks can get, unless you are the EPA.

Anyone else have any experience with the oil eating bacteria stuff or for that matter anything else that will get an older oil stain out?
