Do these hose clamp pliers look right?

Knipex brand... seems the edges on one side do not touch and are not parallel. On the side they don’t touch, one side has a bit of a tooth to it.

I have no idea, I’ve never used one of these. My main concern if the jaws need not touch is why are the jaws not parallel? There’s a sharp tooth on the jaws that don’t touch.

Your main concern should be whether or not you can crimp ear clamps with them.

They look like they would do the job to me.

They should be parallel and should not touch. That said, what you pictured will Do the job it was designed to do.
