Do these proto wrenches exist anymore?

I know the actual size and function is still made by proto according to their website but they look like cheap overseas made stuff. This wrench is beautiful. Too bad the seller only has this one. I'd love a whole set.

Today's your lucky day.

One left in stock at $800.

I know, not cheap! Probably never sold in the numbers needed to justify the production line here in the states.

FYI I have the smaller 14-wrench set of these that I got back in 2017, had to warranty out one wrench out of the box because the pawl wouldn't engage reliably. Since then I've used them often for wrenching on motorcycles and cars, I really like them.

Well I mean not that bad considering the price of Snappy's double box ratcheting.

Or the Craftman v—Series that come in the nice holder are usually the least expensive way to get the FACOM style ratcheting wrenches. Under $100. The proto wrenches were $300 until they were discontinued IIRC.

How do you like these? I’ve been looking to upgrade from my assortment of Blackhawk and GearWrench non reversible, and these have caught my eye. I appreciate that they are available in SAE, which is the sticking point for most of the Facom style stuff.

I really like mine. They are great to carry in the very compact case, that comes with the Facom and USAG sets as well. My Proto Taiwan sets came in a roll and are also nice, but more expensive. I don’t find any higher quality in the USA made stuff.
