I'm looking for a set of Torx and Allen bits to fit a standard 1/4" impact driver. I'm not interested in kits with a 1/4" adapter and a bunch of individual bits, but a set where each bit has its on 1/4" quick attach shank. Here's the other catch, they need to be at least 4" or so inches, and 6" would be perfect.

Pretty sure they dont, if they do Ive never seen them. You would need a 1/4 hex adapter to 3/8 and could use hex sockets.

Vim, Snap On, Wiha, Apex. And I'm sure a lot of others but that should get you started.

Well looks like I was wrong, learn something new everyday.

Personally I prefer the adapter unless space is at a premium.

I've been using this one from HF for a few years now. No issues.

ill second this guy been running the torx bits every day at a bmw dealer for about 6 months i only messed up one used a t25 when i should have used a t30 it got the bit a little funky. i beat on the t20 t30 and 5mm with no issue's plus you get two of each torx bit so u can start with the tamper proof and when you finally kill it go grab a regular. for the 10 bucks you spend the set is well worth it.

The Wiha and Irwin sets look like what I am after, need to do a little more research. The HF set looks OK, but would rather have a little more reach.

The style that the Genius are don't work well for me. They have a straight shank so they fall out of the driver. I have some Dewalts that are like that because they are super long but I regret every time I use them.

I am really confused. Those sets posted are just standard bits. You can get them anywhere? Any bit longer than 1" has the recess really, the most common being the 2".
