Disclaimer: This isn't for torqin' stuff like crazy...mainly assemble etc.

Reading on another thread about sometimes having to use big sockets, like 2", with a 1/4" ratchet...and AZ Catskinner was saying how he's had to do this with several adapters.

Do they make adapters that don't just go up/down 1 size, but go up/down several sizes?

I found these GP and Wera...but not really the same thing.

Wouldn't be hard to make though , get a couple of cheapo adapters or a 1/4 socket that just fits the recess of a 3/4 and weld it in , job done

Not throwing stones, just curious, why do you need one unit?

What is wrong with stacking adapters?

I've been in that situation myself (needing to turn larger sockets with small ratchets) and I always seem to find a use for the separate adapters before I weld or braze them together.

I use the second stack pictured that I have under the blue point name for torque to turn applications with relative frequency. I've never had an issue with the magnetic stackable configuration.

The magnets are relatively weak though so if you had a tight quarters approach from above then I could see wanting a unitized adaptor to minimize the tool count and maybe hold things together more securely without tape etc.

A few years ago a member here posted (in jest) that he uses 3/4" drive for dash work. It was pretty funny!!!!!

Never know when you might need a 3/4"-drive ratchet on a 5.5mm fastener...

The obsessive in me does not like that Peoria Man's adapters are not clocked so that the roll stamping on the adapters is all on the same side.

*Off to do a switchplate screw alignment audit.*
