I need a die stock, but not like your thinking.

I need one that Allows me to get into a recessed spot. Think of it like a deepwell socket for the die, but I cant have the die sliding down into the socket. Does anybody know if they make these?

I've never seen one, if you have hex dies just use a deep well socket with some nuts to space the die to the edge and be careful.

I've never seen one either, tap sockets yes.
I agree on using a 12 point socket to get the job done.

I have an older craftsman die set that the dies ouside prfile is hex shape. Do not have any idea how old it is. Try looking in pawn shops. Why not get a die holde and cut the handles off and braze or weld a socket to it.
