I did some digging and honestly all I could find is snap on makes a 2” and 11” 1/2 drive wobble extension in black oxide finish that isn’t listed as impact so idk. maybe wobble don’t work right with an impact? Didn’t see any at Tekton or proto.

or maybe the extension itself doesn’t matter you can use chrome extension with impact socket and it’s not going to explode or cause a problem because the impacting happens on the socket face?

No idea about other brands, but HF has a 1/2" and 3/8" version. They are CR-MO.

I have the 3/8" set, I've never used them. I also have the Icon chrome wobble extension set. But honestly, I don't like wobbles, I have them "just in case"?

I have one 1/2dr x 5" long wobble extension by Sunex. I'm not sure I've ran into the situation I needed to use it yet. Sunex also does have 1/2" dr wobble impact extensions in other lengths, longer and shorter.

A also have a set of 1/4" 3/8" and 1/2" wobble extensions for an impact driver by Titan. These have come in handy a few times where they were the only power tool combination I had that would fit.

I luv wobbles. Much prefer them to swivels when in the range they can be used instead. Not sure about going full beans on a larger fastener with an impact on them though.

the HF set of 1/2 is 10 bucks for 3 which is 3 bucks per extension.

if a 3 dollar extension can take 500+ foot pounds from a m18 impact I’ll be real impressed

but honestly is a wobble extension going to need more durability or less durability compared to a fixed straight regular extension?

Since your losing torque to the wobble feature maybe you don’t need as strong of an extension for it? Or maybe exactly because of the wobble causing more stress to the anvil you need a much stronger extension? I could see it going either way, any of you tool scientists here have any thoughts like @AEAdam ?

I have full sets in 3/8 and 1/2 drive by Sunex. I've wailed on them with various impacts, cordless and air, over the years and have been surprised that they've survived. Mine are 10+ year old Taiwan manufactured.

I have HF and sunex, they work fine on a 2967 and Astro Thor in 1/2 drive. Obviously they eat some torque.
Damn if you use them and don’t hate them I’ll pick them up next coupon to have just in case from HF

I have the HF sets and LOVE them. I'm not a huge HF fan, but I will give credit where it's due, and those extensions have held up GREAT. I have had to warranty a 1/2, but I have absolutley beat them and surprisingly they survived so far.

These wobbles are limited to about 10 to 15 degrees, anything more than that you need to go with impact swivel extensions. I have both Gearwrench and Astro 3/8" drive swivel extensions and these are needed for the more severe angles.

Wobble extensions are hard on sockets, and the wobble-end tends to wear/distort. Both problems are due to the reduced contact area between male square drive and the female square of the socket.

Wobble extensions are best avoided unless absolutely necessary, and then hand-use only. A wobble impact is a poor design choice.
