O-Ring for WHAT? They aren't all the same. Any O-Rings from Horror Freight should be only used for something that probably isn't on a car. What on a car could possibly be properly repaired with their garbage?
There is the low end Chinese **** imitation Buna-N that is basically free but would be criminally negligent to use for anything on a car. The decent quality Buna-N that is about $0.10 for a 1/2"x1/16" O ring up to better ones used for fuel, different ones used for oil, and different ones yet used for R134a refrigerant. I do figure out the proper O-Rings to use on automobiles and substitute the proper material for OE rings on the parts I sell. My cost on a 1/2"x1/16" O-ring varies from the $0.10 per unit in quantity up to around $2.00. This is my cost in wholesale quantities, not what they sell for. Lots of legitimate $6.00 O-Rings used in automotive applications.

I've said this before on here about the HF Viton o-rings: Used one around '07 in a fuel rail for a GM vehicle. It was on the car about 50,000 miles until it was sold in 2014. No issues at all. If they'll withstand fuel for that long, I have to believe they're actually Viton and of decent quality. To be honest, that o-ring was only meant to be installed temporarily so that the owner could drive a few miles home after a repair. It ended up becoming a longterm test instead...

I picked up a lot of parts kits at napa, i think.

picked up a, O ring, roll pins, cotter pins, snap rings, zerk fittings, woodruff keys,
and a few others. will 99% percent of them go unused? probably, but if it saves me the hassle of tracking a item down one time, iam happy with the purchase.

Harbor freight O-Rings smell awful...
I would only use them on my worst neighbors Fiat oil pump.

Hey! We used a few Harbor Freight O-rings on our 81 Fiat X1/9 Lemons car, but since I am in Texas, I guess I am probably not your worst neighbor.
