Do you recognize this tool?

Help! I've seen these before, and recently snagged one at a yard sale, but can't remember what the heck it is. Anyone out there familiar with this thing? I know it's a machine shop fixture, but do not recall its function. Thanks in advance!

Looks like it could be used with a surface grinder for sharpening endmills, each angle is your reliefs, an the marks are for indexing the flutes, other wise just some kind of spindex fixture

No idea. But I have also bought really cheap tools that I know I will never use just because they look interesting. Nothing wrong with that.
