Do you seal screw penetrations into firewall?

I may be overthinking this but, if I plan to surface mount my subpanel and therefore the conduit straps to the firewall between attached garage and house, how do I effectively seal the firewall back up?

The garage side of the firewall is 1/2" vertically taped/mudded & then 5/8 type X horizontally, taped/mudded. The panel will be surface mounted and the conduit will enter through the firewall.

The PVC conduit entrance will be firecaulked on both sides on the wall.

Do the screw penetrations into the wall for panel mounting and conduit strap mounting need to be sealed somehow? How is this done? You have to mud over drywall screws for firespread reasons.

Am I overthinking this, or how is this done.

Thanks

Good News:
The screws don't need sealing.

The Bad News:
You can't penetrate the firewall with PVC. You'll have to use a metallic wiring method, such as EMT or Rigid Metal Conduit.
