Do you think this is a Snap-on tool box?

Surprised they didn't paint the wrenches while they were at it lol. Does look like Snap on to me. Personally I would never buy those boxes.

Snap-on locks from the looks of it, rest of the box says Snap-on to me. Except the paint job.

The four holes on the side of the box for the handle is the dead giveaway. And of course the shape of the drawers.

JMHO, but that squared-off design with the chrome trim on the edges just never did it for me.

Please don’t tell me you’re considering buying those

…but if you are, post pics of the restoration!

$75 is definitely tempting but looks like a difficult restoration project if you were thinking about that.

The stickers are Snap-on. I suspect the tool box is also. Or possibly Williams. Not sure of the model numbers. Thoughts? Thanks

Looks like a KRL Master Series. Never seen that color option before. Does it have the sticker in back? Also the lock cylinders should say Snap On as well.

For 75 bucks I'm buying it and not doing a single thing except throwing liners and tools in it.

I don't have a polished shop though so it would fit right in.

$75. Id be there already.

The paint *****. I work my tools but that paint is gross. A quick sand and respray in SO red is in order.

If you are interested enough to post a question. For 75 dollars, your going to regret not picking this up. I have never seen a Snap-on box this inexpensive, plus is not a rusty mess. You can always sell later for a lot more than 75 dollars, that finish could come off, be used as is or repainted. Buy it so you have the option of deciding. If this really is a KRL series, crazy good deal.

I mean it's a bargain for any brand of that size really. Could be a Craftsman and I'd be getting it.

Can anyone date when SO changed to those circular key locks please? TIA
Sometime before the early 1980s - I bought the bottom cabinet used that came with the old lock, then added the upper cabinet new just around that time with the new lock style. I then bought two of the new style locks and installed them so they would be both keyed alike.
