Do you use a speeder?

I have the 3/8 and 1/4 round headed rotating head ratchets and the 3/8 and 1/4 speed ratchets love all four of them expensive but really nice to use.

One of my 1/2" drive speed wrenches is a Snappy NS-4-L. It has a breaker bar end with a crank, you can break 'em loose and spin 'em out with the same tool. Sorry, no pics, the camera is busted.

I have speeders in all three drive sizes. I have only used the half a few times doing some engine assembly work. They are nice to use when you have a lot of repeat work to do.

I have heard speeder, speeder handle, speed brace and speed handle. I really don't care about what someone calls it, I know what it is and what it does. therefore a specific name becomes irrelevant.

i use a 1/4 and 3/8 speeder almost everyday. aircraft mechs use them quite a bit.

Am I the only guy in the world that calls them a "speed-handle?"

That's what I call them.

They're handy for screws, engine assembly, etc.

Good lord that's a lot of speed handles, snapmom.

I use mine for removing the plastic cover when changing out the air filter. It goes a lot faster than using a ratchet. I have a nice older Snap-on and a few Proto's.

OMG A card board box in a tool box ! and it has diff..kinds of tools in it that don't match..should be a law from this happing !

Snaponmom, can you tell us the Snapon part #'s that you need? I have a few vintage Snapon speeders that you would probably appreciate way more then me; let us know! I may or some one else here just might have it!

There would not be any part numbers on these, except for a couple with the knobs on them. I need the two pinched stop ones.
