Only 1 rifle? How is THAT possible?![]()
Also, that rifle pictured isn't even legal in California if you want to go out and buy a new one, though it's entirely possible that you did all the paperwork and registered it back when they were legal, and you're grandfathered in.

I think this is funny. So many people commented on how SO wouldn't be the better choice for this gentleman due to the fact that he doesn't work on his cars, but now after many years he would like to own a better set of tools than he did in the past. Valid points by many on cost, value, praticality, and personal preferences. He has a beautiful new garage, multiple BMW's, and a lift to detail them. He is doing everything that feels right to HIM. He has some nice toys to enjoy and wants to compliment all of it with good tools, and after many people suggesting C-Man was the way to go for many different reasons and SO was over priced, too much for what he would need, and not applicable for what he described for uses, he did buy some SO, and wera, and "will undoubtedly be spending more time on the snap-on web site". Good for you BHR4CE1. There is some great tool knowledge here on the GJ, but when it's all said and done, it's your tools, your money, and your enjoyment. Besides using the tools, searching and shopping is also part of the fun. Good luck.![]()
Well, I only have about 9 handguns and 1 rifle (see below)

I'm MUCH more of a pistol guy! I like something I can keep under wraps so to speak.
I don't only live in CA. I also have homes back east. That pic was taken on my plantation in Alabama where just fogging a mirror and being white allows you to have all sorts of weapons.
Nice classic M-16.I'm hoping maybe to get an Armalite that looks like the old M-16 A2 later this year...

Nice looking SP1!Thanks. Actually, it is an AR-15.

LOL at least his investment in his new tool purchases will be well protected!!! ( I always wanted to use some of those smileys) Good place for them now!Glad you got somewhere else to live besides Long Beach. If I lived in Long Beach, I'd have to get drunk everyday.
BHR4CE1, I met and chatted with you one time @ the Roswell 2k New Beetle show; do you anticipate yourself doing anything with one of the upcoming, latest 2012 Beetles? Cabrio coming out soon after the hard top; plus, the hard top is very cool almost full length! I remember your "bhriffic" cabrio and thought it was one of the most unique Beetles at the show... so what do you think?
Hey there MoToys. Born and raised Port Jeff here. I sure do miss the bagels and Pizza! What part of LI are you in?

Whilst i have a few wrenches that are nice to have but I doubt I'll ever find a bolt I need to use them on, what are you planning to shoot?![]()
How are we going from SO tools to guns?
The only guns I have are air impact guns if those count and I have more than a couple...![]()
Its a Swiss made Brugger & Thomet TP9. Mags are 15(underloaded to 14 for reliability) and 30(28).
looks pretty much identical to a steyr spp. who copied who?

I had trouble with that to. Maybe if you get the guns you can get a discount on the tools.
I see the point. What you enjoy and need are not always the same. I have one of these

It came with a year wait.
They are relavant, they make sure the tool man brings back you warrentied tools!

Question- Has anyone gone out on a limb and for fun made a "snap- on gun" with colors, stickers, just curious since we are on guns now![]()

Seeing everything from your Apple computers, cars, high end studio equipment; everything I see is high end and to your tastes.... when it comes to your hand tools, I cannot see you doing anything different! And why would you? Hand tools are just another thing to express yourself with!I cannot imagine how much you have wrapped up in your piano and studio equipment alone (much less the incredible transformation of your house into something of a modern testament to you what you enjoy and view as beautiful to your discerning tastes)... just think how much joy they bring to you; obviously, cost is and was not the primary factor in the choice of "instruments" in your life you choose to own and use. Forgive me for bringing up the costs of things but around here.... this seems to be the primary complaint about high end professional tools like Snap-On! Just like using a Apple Macintosh ; ease of use (they just work!), beauty, and just such a joy to use! Please keep us posted as you acquire your tools and how they integrate into your new "garage" lifestyle!
