It just drives me nuts when something doesn't exist that I think should and would sell like crazy if it did. Sure wish I had the money to produce all of the ideas of inventions I've come up with over the years and later see on the market.
I recently bought a new cordless drill...

...since my 16+ year old Makita finally died- or rather the batteries died (third time) and charger died (second time). It had onboard spare hex bit tip holders which I just loved because I like to have a Torx 25 and a #2 square tip handy for different screws. My new drill and many others on the market don't come with onboard bit holders. I've searched for several hours online and in all the local hardware stores and NOBODY has a universal, stick on bit tip holder.
I finally stopped at the local Milwaukee dealer/ all make/model tool repair shop to see what they had. No aftermarket universal bit holder exists that I could find. The guy at the counter said to wait a minute and he'd just give me the one he removed from his Milwaukee cordless drill because it was just too bulky. I'm going to sand down the back side flat and put on some super strong 3M double-sided automotive trim adhesive and attach it to my drill. The cool thing is, I now have a part number to order some more if needed.

Anyone with some money want to run with my idea and make a million? Go for it! I think they would sell like crazy but maybe not. Thoughts?
