I'm looking at wall mounted shop vacs for my shop. Does anyone have this vac
http://www.bissell.com/garage-pro-wet-dry-vacuum/ that can give me some measurements? I have a 12" wide/12" deep shelf that would be perfect for this if it will fit. The measurements on some sites say it is 11" x 11" x 27", others say differently. I need to know how much width I really need to hang and operate it. I can put a hole in the side of the cabinet for the blower hose connection. I really would like some actual measurements and comments on the machine. Thanks in advance.

I have that vacuum. Got it at Costco several years ago. It measures about 26" tall, about 13" wide and about 12" out fro the wall. I mounted mine about 4' off the floor on a side girt. The house is long enough to reach both stalls in my 30X40. It works great and the attachments are handy for car cleaning.

Sorry about the typo. Auto-correct did it. I caught it in the body of the post but missed the title.

Thank you for the information. I have mounted a recycled custom shelf unit in the area that would be a perfect location for the vac. I would like to install it in the right hand vertical shelf in the attached picture. It is 12" wide and 28" tall. I can cut the side out to exit the blower connection and maybe have to cut some pockets to release the latches on the waste container. If need be I can remove the bottom for extra height. From this picture, do you think I can make it work?

I would think it would go into that cabinet, but you will have to modify it a bit. The long hose is what takes up a lot of room. The Vac comes with a hose holder, but I just wrap mine around the Vac itself. The right side is where the exhaust box is. You would have to do some cutting for that, or cut the center two shelves shorter and move the vac mor to the left.

Tell you the down side of those wall hangers, I have one so I know. That ribbed hose catches stuff like the corkscrew shavings that are a by product of drilling, mig wire, clogs up easily. Also it empties from the bottom.

So any vacuum has the ribbed hose. Are you saying it clogs more because it is longer on a wall mount?
