Linear bearing slide shaft. A quick google search would have shown you that.

The box says it's linear motion bearings. Open the tube up and see what is in it. Should be a round "tube" that has bearings and slides over a shaft.

Yeah sorry, I should have mentioned that - I did search it on Google (plus Grainger and McMaster) but could not find out what it's or if it's of any value. The last 2 pictures show what's inside the box, wrapped in heavy waxed paper (not a tube). It feels like a solid shaft. I really don't want to remove the waxed paper because I'm sure it's on there to protect the item and prevent rust. I posted it here because (other than finding out what it is) I thought someone here might be in need of one of these.
