lets see... I now have 3 sets of free screwdrivers, 3 volt meters, 2 ratcheting clamps, 3 pairs of gloves, and one tape measure, and about 15 flashlights...

I wish they would come up with some new items...

also I could use another tape measure or two but I havent seen a free tape measure coop in a while...

Edit: I also have 3 pairs of scisors too... forgot about those!

FREE Tape Measure with any purchase over $19.99. Add SKU #47737 to Cart, then enter TAPE coupon code.

I cant find one for in store use

I have a set of screwdrivers that might end up in my desk drawer at work. There's a free tape measure in my pickup. And, any jacket that I have been wearing lately has a flashlight in the pocket. Not bad items for the price.

I've got a ton of the free LED mini-flashlights, but now that they've change the coupon to "Free with any purchase over $19.95", the salad days are over.

3-pack of them for $10 is still a killer deal. The batteries are more expensive than the lights themselves. Go figgure? LOL.

Before they had restrictions - I was up to about a dozen or so flashlights. Probably lost around half of 'em by now. They work a lot better with more name brand batteries.

With all the restrictions they have now, I don't even bother. The free stuff seems to be pretty misleading at this point since nowadays they seem to not even keep the stuff in regular stock at many stores - and of course offer no rain checks. I'm sure they get quite a few angry customers over it.

some of them say free with any purchase. I used to go into the store and look around if I was in the area and If I didnt pick anything up then I would get the free flashlight... but now If Im going to the store I will check for a free with any purchase coupon if I am going to buy something, or If Im going to spend over 19.99 then it really doesn't matter.

My store was out of free items for the longest time too... they have it all back in stock now.

I hope and pray daily that corp stops sending out the free coupons. It wouldn't be so bad if customers would read the damn thing, or even give them to us before we cash them out. If they forget to give them to us, we have to stop and wait for a manager to come up and re-ring the ticket for the item. It's not my place to ask for your coupons. Also, for the customers that don't have the coupon. It's pathetic how bad you beg and cry wanting an item that is free. You think it's the end of the world because we won't break the rules for you. Wow, I feel better.

I can empathize with this. I remember one idiot holding up the line in front of me for 10 minutes begging for a discount that he fully knew he didn't qualify for. To save $2.25. The next time I saw him he was in the drive through at BK wasting probably $6 on **** "food". People like this go no where in life.

I too was sick of people walking in, butting to the head of checkout and waving the coupon for free stuff in the cashiers faces. I did ok on the flashlights, about 6. Got skunked on 2 flashlights and the gloves, all out. One meter, it works pretty well. At least I've spent thousands (compressor) at HF, not just free loading.

Can I get duralast ratchets at harbor freight? Also do they have a ratchet with a socket jb welded to it?

yeah I think that we all saw that ratchet and socket welded together... he said he welded it for real and not jb weld... but HF is so cheap that you could totally destroy your tools and not be out any more money then a pack of cigs or a gallon of diesel fuel...

If it makes any difference, the Discovery Channel ran a "Hoarders" marathon last week airing everyone of the episodes to date. I DVR'd them all.
I'm now a "Hoarder's" hoarder.

See what ya made me admit to. LOL.

i do like the free items, but i dont overdose on them. the last 3 times i shopeed i dident get anything, the flaslights are great to leave in the car on in my book bag. tarps are super cheaps, so i dont mind wasting them. never got the golves. the screwdrivers are decent for free. i finally used the miltimeter last nite. it worked for what i wanted it to do, but i think i might be getting a funny reading, not sure, i might be using it wrong.

I'll fess up, I've got that habit too. I have tons of flashlights, multimeters, and screwdrivers still in the package. Flashlights have come in handy for the neighborhood kids to play with, they love to play flashlight tag and I never get back as many as I "lent" out. :) My habit is even worse, though. I've gotten to the point where I hoard coupons too. We get about 10+ copies of the sunday paper where I work and I've been getting all of the HF coupons for months, so you can only imagine how many 20% off coupons I have. A lot of times I just hand 'em out to the others I'm waiting with at the checkout since there's a good chance they'll expire w/o even being used. I figure it's better than letting them go straight to the recycling bin.
