I have the Kwik Bay and like it a lot. It lifts everything I've put on it. Little and big. I REALLY like the huge heavy locking every few inches. Shipping from GSE was way better than my experience with Advance and Bend Pak that thankfully died. It cost me $2800 delivered to my door. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.
Bend Pak has the MDS 6K. But for all its pictures and descriptions, when it comes down to it, you can't actually buy the thing. All kinds of excuses, no product.

And it costs about $1 per pound of capacity. Maybe a bit more. And, I wouldn't bet on that made in America thing, either. I've heard it might be more like painted in America.

I'm interested in the Atlas Kwik Bay lift:

I like that it lifts around 41". Does anyone else make one similar to this?

Thanks,

Ed

There are several. The Nussbaum Sprinter II is the same idea. Made in Germany. Costs about $3,500.

Here's one I like but have never personally used. It's rated slightly lower at 6000lbs but it's beefy, portable and open center, and gives you the option of a full height lift if even needed. I'm sure it's more than capable of 7000lbs at 41" but that's just a guess.

I believe the Mohawk USL-6000 is on some sort of hiatus. When I contacted Mohawk early last year, they said that production had stopped but they were considering making more. Six months later it was the same story.

From what I can tell they are actually built in a real factory by real Americans in upstate New York, here's a link to their "about us" page,

I live near enough to their factory that I've been by. Lotta bare assembled sitting on big trucks. A lot of once used space abandoned to storage. A lot of stuff being painted. I'm sure that at one time everything was made in Amsterdam,NY. I know folks who worked there years ago. Nowadays, I seriously question that. It seemed more like touch up welding, painting and final assembly.

I also have the Atlas Kwik Bay. Had it about a month and very happy with it. If you're in/around Louisville you're welcome to check it out.
