Does anyone have a 24x40 (or close to that size) steel building or pole barn ?. If so if you could please post some photos and let me know where you purchased it from ?. I need ideas. Thanks.

I have a 30 x 40 with 11' shelters on each side. I printed a picture from the internet. I told the builder the size and where to put doors and windows.

We have a 32x42 with an 18' overhang for our camper. We just went to our local lumber yard and bought the material and had a local pole barn contractor build to specs.

I had a build thread going, turned into a big mess, nobody seemed to care for what I was doing with my building, but at the same time never grasped the concept....i will get some pics rolling soon!

Thanks for all the input guys. I've been wanting to build a new shop for some time but have been unsure on the size. This gives me a good visualization.

I have a 24' x 42' polebarn. I have a 16' x42' Carport along side of it that will soon be enclosed though. You can never have enough space.

I have a 24 wide by 42 long shop. It has a tool room just off to the right from the overhead door, only allowing 5 trucks instead of 6 to be stored. I still have room to work and have 4-6 ft in front of both rows of trucks to access shelves and work benches. I still have a nice work area for a bench, engine, and tool cart on the right side of the blue truck. Hope this info helps you
