Keep those Neodymium magnets away from your wrist watch. I was unpacking a box of 32mm magnets the other day, and later noticed my watch was running 20 seconds slow. This is a HAQ quartz watch that normally keeps time within a second a month. I reset it and all is good now.

This is my favorite. IF I am in work clothes it is in my right shirt pocket. I use it about 478 times a day.

Anyone have Magnetic Tow lights that do not fall off ?

a DIY upgrade ????

My Harbor freight set lasted 15 miles !

I made a set with a couple of lollipop lights, an old street sign, and a couple of (I think) 80 pound magnets. I made the wires about 20 feet long so they would reach the back of anything I would tow. Only problem was they had to stay in some kind of container or they had everything in the truck stuck to them.

Don't wear your nice Swiss watch when handling neo magnets. I was unpacking a shipment of them one day, while wearing my nice Certina HAQ (high accuracy quartz) watch, Swiss made. When I went back inside from the garage, I noticed that the watch was all of a sudden 17 seconds slow. This HAQ watch normally keeps time within 1 second a month. I now make it a habit to take off the watch when working in the garage.

You just made me recall by buddy trying to change his fuel pump on his old CJ8 with a SB Chevy in it. Why he didn't take his watch off, I don't know...Out of nowhere he jumps back and starts screaming and frantically unsnaps the band and the watch drops to the floor.

...The alternator is mounted right in front of the fuel pump...The battery was hooked up. LOL The hot watch band was bad enough, but throwing gas from a fuel line into the mix could've been worse. I'll ask him if he remembers if the watch lost any time after that.
