I like the size, and for the price it looks better than the new Horrible Freight series 3.

I’m not sure how I feel about that comparison. I looked at it in store on display just doesn’t feel well made to me. I’ll take my US General boxes any day. And I’m not huge on how the drawers are laid out. Not enough small drawers.

I’m looking at a hart tool box right now. It’s not that one but about 5 yrs ago my wife bought it for me. It’s my favorite for that reason.

Hart is good, inexpensive tools. I still prefer the convenience of hf no questions asked returns. Where are you gonna take other tools to for warranty?

You can also see the hyper tough winch in the picture. I go through about a winch every three months loading ten foot logs into the back of my truck. First bought through Walmart by my wife. How am I gonna warranty that. At least on the box it says can be used for industrial, purposes

That one, the one with a wood top, and the matching upper box have all been on clearance for $100-150 off and on for the last couple years. I own both lower box styles, and they seem pretty nice. I've loaded them heavily and the drawers and soft close mechanism still function really smoothly. I like them much better than any of my HF boxes, which feel way cheaper in comparison. The Hart ones are pretty heavy, I think around 200 pounds for the wood topped one if I remember correctly. I definitely could not lift the box by myself, and I move heavy **** all day. And I like the built in plug strip with usb charging ports.
