Ive been wanting to buy one of these KDT-3536 sets for the longest time now, but the best price ive seen on eBay is around the 160 mark. They look pretty cool and would come in handy. They make a 7 piece set as well KDT-7535

It would be nice to find a used set, but where to look? Any ideas or suggestions are welcome! I appreciate any input.

Amazon and ebay, search on Gearpliers, $60 from same vendor that seems to be selling in many areas for pliers and 13 tips without case.

Sears had these and clearanced them, never got into the tempting to me range. Removable tips are never going to work as well as fixed. I can live with it for snap rings, but no need to for anything else, plus you are really going to want at least two handles.

Plus $12.50 shipping.

Not if you request actual shipping. Cripe has it listed high, but if you commit to buy and ask for the actual total, they drop it to actual shipping. I've had orders that said it would be $25 shipping that were dropped to $6 after a total request.

Actually these removable tip pliers are one of the few "universal" tools that actually work well. There is next to zero slop due to the attachment method. I love mine!

I ended up paying about $80 from a seller on eBay too for the 15 piece set. Let me check to see if they are still selling them! They get expensive quick!

80$ is exactly what I was looking to spend. Now everyone wants double for some stupid reason. Some sellers are saying that these are rare or that they haven't been made for a long time and they have some new old stock. But that shouldn't mean they can charge double.

If anyone has a 15 piece they would sell me, shoot me a pm.

Hey did you end up finding that seller? I could send them a message and see if they had anymore.

I bought a set from that seller back in January. They arrived very quickly and everything was intact and in its orginal packing. I would say order with confidence if the $107 is in your price range.

Its way better than 160$ but 80 is even better if there is an ebay seller that is selling these at that price.

Ill take it! lol... That is if you don't want it. As far as just the cable hose clamp attachment goes, I havent seen it by itself in my searches, but it may be out there. Is it the matco version or KDTool? I think sears even sells these.

Just as an update, I contacted this seller and he sold me a brand new set at 89$ shipped Fed Ex to my door. What a deal. And its the 15 piece kit as well. I havent as of right now got them, just wanted to post that I found them for 89 shipped. That is by far the lowest price anywhere that I found.
