Hope all are having a good weekend!
I went to a garage sale on Friday and picked up these double-ended tapered bits for a five dollar bill. My intent is to use them as drifts and hardy tools for my anvils.
They will skate a file with just the slightest bit of bite with a fine single-cut, so they are hardened, but will definitely deform with hammer blows, as some have been used already as punches. They range in lengths from 7-1/2" to 11".
There are no markings nor method for attachment to a machine.
Would love to know if anybody has a clue to what they are.

Look like barrel drift pins.

Never knew what those were called but the private contractor guys whose job it was to assemble and move scaffolding around the hangers when I worked one summer at Oceana Naval Weapons station in VA Beach used to carry around a bunch of those to tap into the holes to align the pieces before bolting them together. They seemed to be a perfect tool for that job.
