I purchased a storage auction that contained several pumps, and motors. I have tried searching by the model number, but am not having any luck. Does anyone know if this is a pump motor or an air compressor motor? I am trying to make sure I have the correct info before selling. Any help would be great!

Just going by the other pumps with the same 405ADC38 base model number on the Thomas Industries site (gd-thomas.com) it looks like it's going to be a WOB-L Piston Gas Pressure Pump.

It's a pressure or vacuum pump with many industrial uses.
They are more for moving air or gases, NOT for high pressure or high vacuum.
They typically have a rubber diaphragm and simple reed or poppet valves. Been a while since I rebuilt one. Thomas makes many different types.
They are commonly used as pumps in emmissions analyzers, for example.
