Hello I'm new here

I'm very curious if there were any knowledgeable people here that could identify what this tool set is and maybe what its used for.

Everything is just marked =Craftsman= with no model numbers or anything else other than sizes.

the image is attached.

Thank you for the reply!!

Do they have any practical uses now? I'm probably going to ebay them.

image from the 1957 Craftsman hand tools catalog:

Craftsman 9C4707 Bushing Driver Set - 1957 Craftsman hand tool catalog pp 19.jpg

it also appears in both the 1954 and 1955 catalogs. those are the earliest I have here. didn't bother to check later issues.
check ToolArchives.com for earlier/later catalogs.

vintage I suppose is anybody's guess. you have to go by the logo on the box unless the pieces are stamped with a production code.

If you are repairing (older) appliances, tools, gearboxes, and small electric motors they are invaluable. Nowadays most people, except for GJ'ers, just throw stuff away or don't know how to fix things.

I'm not sure what you mean, is it listed for sale somewhere?

EDIT...Never mind, I just realized what you meant. Sometimes I'm slow. :)

I’ve never met anybody slow from Missouri. My wife has cousins in Independence seemed like a pretty sharp crew to me. Not to hijack this thread but why do you have highway sign posts stating hiway # and mileage every 1/5th of a mile?

If our vehicle breaks down they don't want us walking to the next mile marker. Slow and out of shape. That was a big argument when the state bought those signs.
