Does anyone make anything similar to this?

I have been toying with this idea for a while and can't seem to find anything that looks like it would fit the bill. I may need to fabricate something.

I'd like a cart/mobile workstation for my air compressor. Ideally I'd like to fit my 30gal tank in the bottom, have a hose reel built into the cart, run pipes to a few other QD connections and wiring for a few 110v outlets through the cart, 3 drawers (one for impact sockets/cutoff disks/bits/pieces, one for shallow air tools, and one for deep air tools), and then a small lip to use the top as a catch-all where I could put a small pancake compressor, maybe a portable air tank, and a few other odds and ends in. If I build this myself, I'll likely run pipes to the extra QD fittings on the bay and up to the hose reel.

This to me seems like the best way to keep all the air stuff contained, organized, and together where you need it most but I am just not finding quite what I'm looking for. I got the idea after seeing so many guys with welding carts and I thought about my air tools and how I wanted an air cart.

Certainly easy enough to buy the various components and assemble.

The hose reel, on a cart with casters, would be interesting. And an air compressor running on a cart with 4 casters would be interesting also.

You'd need good quality locking casters.

Yes, the casters would definitely need to be a part to NOT skimp on. If I build one I'll likely do fixed in the rear and swiveling in the front. I work in the medical community and may have a source for the casters used on the big, heavy hospital beds. I'd likely grab some of those through our equipment dealer at work so one stomp would lock them both out up front.

Pretty good idea. I had a similar idea, but without the compressor actually mounted on the cart. Instead, I would have the compressor mounted on the floor where ever and run a hose to the cart. Then have a reel or a manifold with different short lengths of hose for each tool. I think having the compressor mounted right there on the bottom will be heavy, loud and hot. Maybe you can mount a storage tank on the bottom to make it super mobile. On the other hand, if you are going to have power outlets, it will make things easier having one power cord run to the cart instead of a power cord and air hose. I'd like to see it if/when you complete it.

I don't know. I really wouldn't want my air compressor close to where I'm working because of the noise but, I have all of my Air tools & Accessories on my tool cart so, they're close to where I'm working. I think you could create it using an industrial shop cart as the framework and add a drawer unit to it.
