I see plenty of crowfoot flarenut designs following a ring head 12 point design like picture 2, however I never see this ring head design featuring a 6 point like picture 1. The only 6 point designs seem to be those shown in picture 3. Do you know if anyone sells a design like picture 1?

I actually think design number one was the early version and it evolved into #3. I seem to remember design #1 from a long time ago when I was in school being made by MAC. If you had a design #1 and laid it over the same size #3, I don't think there would that much of a size difference or a gain in reach.:dunno:

My Bonney catalog (# 800.....maybe 1980?) doesn't list a flare crowfoot wrench in metric. In fact, they are calling the metric crowfoot wrenches, "new".

What about the old MAC ones that people talk about? Did these ever come in metric?

My dad has this Mac set in metric, 9mm to 18mm, purchased some time in the 90s. That Bonney looks a lot slimmer, though.

Edit: if anyone is interested in trying to find them, the part numbers on these are CHBM9 through CHBM18.
