Funny I was just looking for the very same thing last night in HD; although I never found any in SS, I did find ones made in the "no rust guarantee", blah, blah, blah... They were not cheap as I needed 10 for a quick deck job.

Yeah I've got the headlok ones and theyve been outside for 2 weeks without issue... for some reason the heads on those timberloks started pouring off rust after 24 hours and a rainstorm!?! I switched to the hillman brand from the fastenmasters so we'll see if those are any different. The anti corrosion claims on the fastenmasters are pretty clear that they won't rust or corrode. And I used their bit so it's not like I was rough with it.

I'll see what I can come up with on mcmaster carr shortly. I was hoping to find something with the attached washer in a stainless.

Just a thought, but those screws look like Tapcons. In a pinch, I've used Tapcons with wood and they held fine.

McMaster sells Stainless Tapcons.... https://www.mcmaster.com/90950a104

Two things here.

First, stainless Tapcons have a silver colored ceramic coating, so they don't truly appear to be stainless, but they do use stainless inside. The finish had me kind of freaked out when I bought a box last year.

Second, Tapcons have threads designed to be used in concrete, in a pre-drilled hole. I'm not sure how they would compare with a no-drill screw anchor when sunk into wood, but I think that with an undersized pilot hole, they'd probably be good.

In general stainless steel screws are not as strong as other steel screws, especially for structural applications. Check the specs.

Good point. For a traditional soft hex head lag screw, stainless will be almost (but not quite) the equivalent. But for any modern stronger alternative, stainless is a real strength compromise.
