Does anyone have an idea what the red plastic disks w/knurled handle are?
They were in the larger (unknown) bottom box that I was forced to take when I bought the two SK boxes at a sale today.

Sometimes I think the larger bottom box looks homemade, then the next time I think it resembles an old Snap-On box. There are no markings on the box that I can see, but it has been re-painted several times.

Thanks for the pics.
The big box would be pretty nice with a bit of work restoring it. I don't believe the tray is original to that box.
The small box looks like it only needs a little TLC.
I agree that the roller looks like a home brew.

Well I’ve got an old Huot to restore and a few days ago I bought a 1924 Walker-Turner Metal/woodworking lathe to restore also. So the SK’s will be sold this winter.
