I stumbled across this Proto (Challenger) socket while I was browsing through a flea market earlier today.
This little socket cost me a grand total of fifty cents...a deal I just couldn't refuse even though I have little or no use for a socket this big.
This Challenger is a 12 pt socket. There is a three digit number (524) on the left side of the stamping. There is no marking that designates it's size. But it feels like a 1" or 1 1/16 socket.
Could anyone shed light on on this socket?
And, if anyone could use this socket, I would rather it be used than collect dust in my Man Cave.
Cheers!
