Does GW make shallow broached sockets?

So I need to buy some deep socket sets. I'd kinda prefer to buy tekton, but I've heard GW has shallow broached deep sockets. Is this true? Shallow broaching sounds like it would be a huge help.

x2 Gearwrench deep chrome sockets are shallow broached. Not sure about impact sockets.

Some like this feature, some do not.

My 1/4 and 3/8 sets are shallow broached. They are 3 or 4 years old, so I couldn't say for sure that they are still made that way.

I actually find deeper broached sockets to be more versatile since most of my work is away from my main box, if I need the benefits of a shallow broached socket, I can always either use a regular shallow socket with an extension or just shove a wad of paper towel in there to keep a nut or short bolt out at the end.

I mean it seems to me like a gamechanger. It would make stuff much easier to thread onto bolts. I wonder if it actually makes that big of a difference because I'd prefer to give my business to tekton. They have a store on their website where the prices don't fluctuate, and they actually warranty stuff for wear and tear instead of just manufacturer defects. I also like that they are making an effort to bring lots of production back to the US.
