Does LP still make Smartside ploughed fascia?

LP makes/used to make a so-called ploughed fascia trim board for fascia. It is a piece of trim with a groove cut for the soffit to rest in. Anyone know if this is still made? All of the big box stores show it as no longer available on their website. LP's website has this product on some pages, but it is missing on other pages.

I don't know that I really need this product. I could get standard 4/4 Smartside trim to use as fascia and just nail the soffit to the bottom of the eaves.

I use a lot of LP product for the shed business and it has probably been twenty years since I’ve seen that material. The complaint back then was the plough was never in the right place and it kind of fell from favor.

That makes a lot of sense about the plough not being in the right spot. It seems like just using a piece of Smartside 4/4 trim instead. Menards is clearing out the ploughed fascia fairly cheap, but very few stores still have it in stock.

I am not familiar with that exact product but if it was one of their fiber products it has been discontinued. They have shut them all down and focused/retooled on their OSB type products.

I thought it is OSB, but not sure. Wasn't fiber production stopped in 2020? I would never use the fiber product just because of so many fiber based products that turned out to be ****. I have the OSB Smartside on my house and my current house. They have aluminum soffit and fascia, but considering using Smartside fascia and soffit on my new garage.

I used the slotted vented soffit and I like it very much. I wrapped the facia in aluminum however. I don't think I could bring myself to trust it in that application.
