Does Mac Tools have anything that is super great?

Lowes carries the Irwin branded one, I also personally own the Iriwn strippers. They have a great wire stopper (for repeating same length strips) that the Mac stripers shown here do not have.

Mac Edge sockets. I think they're made in china but they've removed rounded bolts that my SO sockets wouldn't budge.

+1 the Impact MAC Edge Sockets are amazing...new or old rusty bolts they work mint.

I personally think the MAC boxes are better then the SO boxes. But I believe student discount is limited to the TECH series at most...no discount on Mascimizers...If there is a TECH series in a size you wanted, that would be something else to think about.

I got a really good MAC guy, which makes me biased...some people get their ******* in a bundle over MAC, but I've personally had better service and more stability from MAC then SO.

I just snagged a MAC Saltus wrench in 15mm, and it looks and feels nice. Didn't know MAC did that style.

the 1/2 impact is good, but I bought mine like 7 years ago, 1100 ft/lb in reverse. It was the John Force nascar edition. blue, very cool looking.

I have that same wrench and love it. Quiet, comfortable, strong, and most importantly...pretty!

I have a couple large wrenches and specialty wrenches that are mac a nutdriver or two, a pair of mini nippers and a socket organizer but that's it for me there great tools but not as good as Snap-On.

the offset on the box end of the precision wrenches are handy. i use them way more than i use my snap on of the same size

the mac edge impacts had a locking lug on a car that none of the removers would touch said f+++ it big hammer and and an edge socket beat it on powered it off . it cut the oust side of the lug to a hex shape perfectly

angle head wrenches....I have both snap on, and mac....MAC is the way to go IMO. Daily user here on Natural Gas turbines and logging equipment.

How so? The Mac angle's are terrible at 15 & 60. The snap on 30/60 is much better.

The Mac extensions with the knurling on the female end is very nice.

I actually like their boxes. More than even Snap On. I really want the MB7432. Its 74"w 32"d 46" tall. Here is the toolguyd review on it. If i had a mac guy i would buy one.

1/4" drive air ratchets. I have the ar251. It gets used every day at work and is about 8 years old now and has never had to be rebuilt. These are the best.

I like the knurled extensions, their dewalt based cordless stuff (20v), trim tools, and another vote for the impact sockets. Had mine about ten yrs now.

No, similar design but a lot less power... The Proto and MAC are the same except for the trigger guard however.

Small world it is! I loaned it to someone for a few months and when I took it back it was so dirty, I spent a good while scrubbing it clean and now it looks good as new! I love the way it looks with that bright blue shell. And your right its very comfy and quiet! Very good power in its day, now there are better impacts at around 1400 ft/ lb at the same price point.
