I have a number of tools from Titan .. here is a list ..

inch drive by 40 inch long breaker bar
extra long ( non flex head ) ratchet set - 1/2 , 3/8 , 1/4 inch drive
extra long flex head ratchet - 1/4 inch drive
long offset handle ratchet - 1/2 inch drive - this one is a real knuckle saver , my favorite ratchet.

Have had great success with these tools. work very well. if a prob was to arise titan has a very good customer service dept for warranty based issues. lifetime warranty ( have not had to warranty anything as of yet )

I've messed around with some of their display stuff at Summit Racing and have been pleased. I have the gearless stubby ratchets (which are awesome), and I just picked up that steel folding work bench that Summit has on clearance for $150. Additionally, I've read good things about them here and on other forums.

I just got a 3/8 gearless ratchet on ebay for $20 to try out, it should be here monday. I believe these particular ratchets are made in Taiwan for Titan here and Sealey in the UK.

I've heard nothing but good things about the brand :)

I have that 3 PC set I think I paid about $25 for it from northern tool a couple years ago they are fine for the money and someone just had a post the other day about how they have a no hassle Cust.service dept. for warranty issues. So I would say its a safe buy

Thanks for the responces guys. Years ago I swore I would only buy craftsman, but somewhere along the line most of my tools were stolen. I bought one of those cheaper sets at Sam's Club, and that was fine for a while. Now I want to replace those and build a decent set of tools as well. I just don't think Sears is going to be around for much longer to Honor the Craftsman warranty. I'm open to other suggestions as well .

All their ratcheting stuff that I've seen is clearly OEM'd by Rotar, the Taiwanese company responsible for Toptul and also the 3rd gen Kobalt stuff.

Check out Blackhawk. They make good stuff at reasonable prices considering the level of quality. Zoro tools carries a good selection of it.

There are several nice NOS sets on eBay right now as well.
