Does Sears.com Still Ship to Canada?

I saw a thread here from years ago that I didn't want to bring back from the dead, saying they did, and in fact, I had a shipment sent several months ago. I just went to order something else and I saw no option to ship to Canada anymore. In the list of dozens of countries they will ship to, I didn't see Canada.

I tried to ask 'live chat' and got a response saying they were to support customers in the US only.

Their Canadian tool catalog weighs (literally) 2 ounces, and that includes non-tool tings like garage door openers, etc. Bad.

I thought Canada was part of the US just colder. Confuses me as well why companies don't ship to canada or offer watered down lines of items. Must be related to customs?

Close to the border? I get all my supplies shipped to a box just south of the line, then go down and pick it up....

I was in the store in Fort Gratiot, Michigan and the sales guy honestly thought I was handicapped I bet I spent 2 hrs in there wandering. When I brought all the stuff I wanted to the counter he asked why I was so excited, so I told him our sears doesn't have tools and it cost double if I can even get them at home. He then proceeded to tell me that there is A stores and B stores and if I really wanted to see tool section to go to an A store.

Orrrr find some killer deals on ebay for snap on, mac or matco stuff which takes time but it does come up! Ship to the border for cheap or free, $5 storage fee and pay the 5% gst as they assume most SO, Mac & Matco are US made stuff which is free of duty fees. And wala you have quality tools, at a fraction of the price, which you could sell on Kijiji or Craiglist for a profit if you ever needed too.

Obviously for single items there is no benefit, but buying a good quantity of stuff it works very well and saves a ton of coin.
