I don't want combo arc fault/ground fault, and I've got a plug-on neutral load center, so why not use it if I can? But I can't find the breaker in question. Anyone know if it is or isn't made?

And yes, hooking up that pigtail IS that big a deal :D

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid nuisance tripping with arc fault breakers for sure. I built a house just prior to requiring them (our locality hadn't adopted code version that required arc fault) but other localities had adopted and there were lots of horror stories. How many were faulty installs?? Hard to say. Either way, detached garage shouldn't require them with no kitchen or sleeping quarters, so I'm not putting them in.

I should have been more clear in what I'm hunting for, I have a QO load center, and it's got a "plug-on neutral" (breaker can actually snap onto a neutral bus, so no pigtail to "normal" neutral bus). Little gimmicky, but if I can, I'll buy the breaker to take advantage. I can find combo arc/ground fault breakers with the plug-on neutral, but not GFCI only.

I have a Square D Homeline box (HOM) and they make those breakers for that: HOM120PCAFI.
I don't know about QO and I don't think that they interchange.
I printed all the HOM info from the Square D pages on the Schneider web pages, so you could go there and look for QO info.
Best of luck.
Press on, healthfully and prayerfully.

Ah, gotcha. Doing a search it seems that they have them in the "works" to be made. So hopefully soon for you. it does say the pigtail one can be use in the plug in, guessing you have to connect the neutral.

Very nice find. If their expected release date holds (from your link: "Possibly they will be available in April 2021"), I might just luck out. At the rate I'm ruining conduit, it'll be a few weeks before I'm ready for inspection.

And to be clear: not a big deal to connect a neutral pigtail. Just first panel I've roughed in that had this plug on neutral, and seems silly I can't actually use it.

Homeline is 1" wide breakers.

QO is 3/4" wide breakers.

They do not interchange, and with the exception of some UL classified competitive makes, Eaton for QO, & HOM, & Siemens makes classified breakers for QO, nothing else interchanges with them.
