Bought a Tool Vault Extreme 72 inch, great bang for the buck. I’m not a pro, but those boxes are really well made

I have not really seen any sale, sometimes they have a free stainless steel top, definitely buy when there is a free top

They will list scratch / dent items on their facebook page and others. Call them and see what they have

i have a tool vault from strictly i got for a great deal bc they gave me the wrong quote so i saved alot but still wish i gotten a extreme tools box.

do yourself a favor and get a extreme tools toolbox instead from Rockin Tool Boxes. they have sales and scratch/dent sales all the time. there boxes also have a better layout. had i known about them i would had got one of there boxes instead. they have a website and on facebook.

+1 on rockin toolboxes... follow them on their FB page. They usually post a video of their scratch and dents

"Rockin Tool Boxes" Extreme layouts kinda ****, personally.

Another +1 for Strictly Toolboxes. Great boxes, great customer service. They also sell Extreme, if you're inclined.

I was looking at the 55x25 tool vault rolling chest. I went on rockin tool boxes they have a scratch and dent extreme 55x25. Tool vaults have heavier slides but detent. Extremes slides are locking. I will be moving in the box a lot and I was concerned about the drawers popping open. What do you all think?

the detents **** on my tool vault. iv owned it for 4 years i think. they dont hold anymore but when they did work it made all the tools move around in the drawers when opening and closing them. my other box i had with latch system never had that issue.

i like my tool vault only bc i got a great deal on it but if i had to pay full price i would look else where. nice people to work with tho.

I don't have a problem with the detents on mine. Mine (72x30) came with a second set of detents - I honestly can't remember now if they came installed with the "softer" or "harder" detents, but I know I liked the drawer detent action better after swapping them.

Either way - if you're moving your box, lock it before you move it, and you won't have a problem with the drawers opening up on you.
