Does the Autel ds708 scan JDM vehicles?

Hi.

Have any GJ members tried the DS708 on JDM autos?
They are imported second-hand, in significant numbers into the West Indies.

The Launch x431 works I'm sure, but at a reputable USA dealer (just looking at it on their website), it is local $8,000. I could post what shipping, handling, insurance, VAT and possible import duty can be but you get the idea.

Mazda axela, 626,323F, Nissan Xtrail GT(sr20vet) Nissan Almera are among the cars in question.

I'd be glad to hear from anyone who knows for sure.

Yes it does. Ive scanned all types of japanese imports, including minivans. I haven't tried those specific ones you mention but i cant imagine any reason they wouldnt work...

I know the launch tablet running android does because it has world markets aswell as is markets systems

I have not had a import vehicle to test it on but try emailing autel if you can

I just checked for you. Yes it does. I assume, I have the DSD908 which is the same as the DS708 with a larger screen and a few more bells and whistles.

Thanks all, for the kind responses.

There are few things I find more confusing than automotive diagnostic tools and their compatibility with specific makes/models. Of course its not helpful when car makers alter or leave out all together, parts, specs and functionality depending on what region they ship to.
