5k is a good price? I think I would look for one with a better price and a color I liked...

I despise tree bark camo

The wrap will come off with a heat gun, but the question is, how much heat to apply without ruining the paint underneath the wrap?

Hi, The wrap will come off,no problems, using a low heat gun, wrap peels right of, worse thing that can happen is there may be some trim cut marks on the paintwork underneath,

But its been a bit of a trend other here in the UK to wrap tool boxes and now cars,
looks like a great tool cab for a nice price, if you can afford it then go for it, why not,

Hey, if the paintwork is a little naff underneath, why not re wrap it to suit you, vinyl wrap is available in all colors . finishes and sizes, etc

I kinda like the camo. It would give me a reason not to actually have to work on stuff.

That's not a wrap. The drawer fronts and trim pieces are actually camo.

I reckon just warm with a hair drier and peel away. They list the top as stainless steel, but it looks more like coated steel to me. Awesome box though. I'd have it like a shot.

KRL1023 is $10,800 new. So yes, 5K is a good price, in my opinion. Not good enough to live with the came, though.

What the catalog says and what most people will actually pay for it are two very, very different things. I was just looking at an unused KRL7022 last night for $2800 that's on the local CL, I think it's on fleabay too. Then again I've also seen people asking $4-5k for a 722, when I could roll one off the truck brand new for less... they're usually asking that for a long time. Theres a guy in western Md that's had his camo 1022 listed for $4500 for well over a year now.

If you just want a brand new box and would otherwise be buying off the truck close to retail, it's not an awful price. If not, you can do a lot better.
