$35 off of the Snap-on truck. I don't understand why it was traded, since this has the interchangable shank.

You cannot solicit a You ****. The award rules clearly state that any member who solicits a You **** for a purchase or acquisition disqualifies himself from receiving the coveted You **** award for that purchase.

NO.

It does have the longer shank but, there's really nothing special about it or the price you paid. Someone traded it because, they didn't like it, felt the handle was too large, didn't like the feel of the softgrip handle when it was dirty, or just didn't use it.

I paid $35 off the truck for a used trade-in soft grip ratcheting unit like yours (but in green ) years ago . I also paid $20 off the truck for a used orange hard handle ratcheting driver.

The orange HH ratcheting screwdriver was traded in for a soft grip flex handle ratcheting screwdriver by the PO.
The green softgrip was traded in because the owner put it toward the purchase of an F80 and already had another ratcheting screwdriver.

Work on a mfg floor or on a big mfg campus and you will see the wildest things traded in due to the owners needs.

I;ve gotten MANY a good SO bargain off my driver due to my co-workers and others on his route.

I think $35 is a great price, but I personally never thought my deals were suckage-worthy.
