does this site "time out"?

I was typing a longer post and suddenly found myself not logged in. Does this site have a "no activity" time limit or time a user out if there is no activity? Just curious.

I don't know about a time out, but if you click ''remember me'' when you log in it keeps you logged in.

I have at random times been logged out. If I type a long post then I do a COPY of the post before I post it. If you find yourself logged out then log in again and PASTE into the reply section again.

Yes, you will basically get timed out if you don't click "Remember Me" when logging in.
