Does your tool dealer bash the other brands?

I'm sure this has probably been discussed here before but figured I'd start a new thread. So as the title states, does your tool dealer bash other brands? My Snap On dealer has the standard line "I laugh at XYZ's ratchets", this coming from a guy who was swimming ball to ball when I was buying Matco, MAC, S-K and Snap On. Yet my Matco dealer never bashes other brands and speaks respectfully of other brands and think that is due to him being mechanic for 15 years before selling Matco.

My HF tool guy is always bashing Snap On, Mac, and others.....Says they are way too expensive.....

None of the dealers I have ever dealt with bashed the other truck brands, but they would compare / bash the rest.

does your preferred auto maker tells you how their cars are a lot better than their competetion? they make a living selling tools. i dont ask and i dont care about what he thinks about other tool brands. all he cares is that he gets my business.

my SO guy doesn't have any other tool truck brands to worry about within hundreds of miles. He doesn't bash the industrial tool/toolbox brands available locally so I doubt he'd bash mac, Matco, etc if they were available here either. Just not that type of salesman I guess.

My snap on does because I used to by so much from Mac, but all the dealers bashed each other more than the tools they actually sell.
