A Domino screw operated wrench, 7" long, branded in two locations with a small "Domino motor , Rd No.528575" on the head, and larger "Domino, No.1049, Rd. No.528575" (with a 3:1 domino logo) on the slide.
A bit of searching on the web indicates "Domino" is a tool brand used alongside "Footprint" tools, by Thomas Ellin Ltd, Footprint Works, Sheffield (and successors)
I haven't been able to find details on the Registered Design Number 528575, anyone know how to do this ?

I like the thumbscrew on the back, and I love all the markings on that wrench, especially the logo. (I have been placing a red or black throwing die - as used in craps, or other games - in many of my tool photos for many years. For context, and also as a personal marker. Always only showing the 1 and the 3!)

There's a gov.uk search tool that I have had some good results with linked here, although your number's not getting results.

Found some online data in Ron Geesin's book "The Adjustable Spanner", with pictures of the spanner and listing the Registered Design date being 7 Aug 1908, so I expect my wrench was made within the 20yrs following (looks like I need 6 different sizes to obtain a complete collection ! )

Lugz, I sent a query to the UK Gov registered design people to ask why their website didn't recognize the RD number. Also checked my box of odd wrenches for the Footprint wrench you mentioned....sorry, no examples found (although I have other toolboxes to check; in vehicles, the back shed, and up at the cabin and.....)
