Well,
Since my first garage setup I've been using a 15gal upright craftsman oil-less, paid more than I should have for a used one but it's gotten me by for 5years or so. The mechanical use I used it for was light at best. But its been getting weaker and weaker every season.
Fast Foward....Im now in a 40x40 shop and have been wanting something bigger that wasnt so loud....{enter GJ}....after learning the differences in compressors and all the bells and whistles I had settled on a 60gallon 5HP Dual stage. Cost was kind a set back seeings how I DID have a compressor and money has been tighter than I wanted this summer. Then my 15gallon stopped pumping up past about 60PSI, I tore it down for a full rebuild but parts were more expensive than what I paid for it originally. Time to bite the bullet I guess.
My local Autovalue Parts store sells C-Aire and has had the one I wanted on display for a while...it was time.
