This transformer came on a 3 phase cold saw I bought and have now resold (without the transformer). I need to get it out of the shop, what's it worth? What do they cost new?

not much

tons of used 3-phase surplus out there.

9KVA will give you a 20a 240v 3Ø circuit..... not good for much but a single tool

It won't be worth much (likely a few hundred bucks), but post it as best reasonable offer and someone will buy it.

Tomorrow someone is coming to pick up a brand new transformer I'm selling. Its been posted for 5 weeks, and I only got low ball offers until the right buyer actually offered me a reasonable purchase price. Patience will help you here.

As far as what it's actually worth, I can't help there.

What's not much? $5? $50? $500?? Scrap it? I want it gone but if it's worth something I'll try to sell it before scraping it.

Brand new in Canada , they are about $2,000 ish
Not sure what the used market is like down there
In good shape to the right buyer, like anything else
half of new ??But not less than $500.
Search the used transformer suppliers, ebay etc

IMHO, they are worth what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller.

If you want to get rid of it badly consider selling it for scrap.

If you have a 240v 3ph supply and need 480v 3ph (motors are not reconfigurable - single voltage) then it could be quite valuable.

To me it looks clean and that will help.

I'd say start at $500 and see what kind of offers (or lack thereof ) develop.
