Purchased a NIB 3/8” Drive, 3 piece extension Williams’s set on eBay. Thought it was made in the US, says made in Taiwan when I received it.

Overall the quality appears good but I assumed it was made in the USA, should have asked seller. I only have 18.00 into the set. I don’t think it’s worth sending in just to get back 12.00.

Purchased a NIB William's hard handle screwdriver set that was made in the USA a few weeks ago.

Like most things Williams, they make a set of something in the U.S., and another in Taiwan. They do, in fact, make U.S. extensions, but you have to be sure that what you're buying is in fact a U.S.-made model. It's all in the catalog of course, but I guess the e-Bay vendor probably didn't provide enough information to easily verify.

The Taiwan models are always a bit (quite a bit) cheaper than the U.S. models.

For what it's worth, though, I'm sure the Taiwan extensions will serve you fine.

I agree, they appear to be good but I go out of my way to purchase US tools if the price is within reason.
