I can assure you that I picked up this set just a few days ago, but the box I picked up was quite discolored (it was on a rack near the front window, but well hidden, and likely had been there for years). Some of the stuff is definitely a YMMV case, but check the link out I provided and see if any AAs near you have this set. It's really an awesome quality set, and unbelievable at that price point... the base price is about half Amazon's price, but with the coupon, it's an amazing deal.

Thanks for this - I picked up a few socket sets last time they were on sale but I didn't get this one.

I tried to order these earlier but their website went down for maintenance when I tried to get to the cart. I finally cleared my cookies and it's back up again. It seems like their site goes down about half the time I go on it. Anyone else have problems with that?

Yes any time I go on there and need to move items around to hit the price points for the discounts. I get kicked off. Pain in my rear. Oh yea it says down for maintenance.

I just got 1/4 shallow metric and sae, plus 3/8 shallow metric for $35 total, after the 25% coupon above and a $10 speed perks coupon. I'll have to pick up one of the 1/4 sets locally because it was sold out online, but the other two will come here with free shipping. Thanks!

Reopen the site in Incognito Mode. I've noticed it happens everytime I open a new window for retailmenot or another coupon site.

I went to pick up my sockets today and they couldn't find them in the store. They said all their GearWrench already got shipped back and the part numbers now cross over to their new Teq brand. I ended up just cancelling it. There are a couple other stores in my area and they were all showing out of stock already when I ordered.

The TEQ brand is essentially Gearwrench, they are both made by Apex Tools. Advance Auto wanted a in-house brand like the other two chain auto parts stores O’Reilly and Autozone. That was the reasoning given to me when I left AA as a store manager.

Speedperks are reward points earned from previous purchases. the 25% coupon code is often posted when you enter the AA site
