I thought I would be lucky if proto would even warranty a plomb tool, and that is asking for a lot.

Where are the Snap on legal guys who shut these ads down when you need them....

I think that they have enough to fight with people wanting to know where their tools are made and don't have the resources to fight these other battles, :lol_hitti

Maybe...

I got two of my Blue point auctions pulled because I said they were warrantied by snap on.... Apparently, an individual cannot claim that they will be warrantied.

Before calling people ignorant he should check his facts.
Plomb tool company never had a warranty agreement with Snap-on.

His dealer may have been generous because he has been a good customer but Snap-on has no liability when it comes to Plomb tools.
Even though his dealer warranted the tool doesn't give him the legal right to claim Snap-on as a warrantor.

I sent the guy a question thru ebay.

Dear triumphbob328,

I am a Snap-on dealer and in no way shape or form are these tools warrantied by Snap-on.

He replied:

Assuming... Just Assuming he is telling the truth and does not have some kind of dementia or substance abuse problem....

How much do you have to owe the Snap on man for him to warranty old broken Plomb/Proto tools with new Snap on tools? :lol_hitti

Man that has to be a lot of money because there is not a single one of my customers that I will warranty out a socket with another tools companies name on it for a Snap-on socket. The only exception to that is some JH Williams sockets.
