Yep, I hate it. Someone listed 4 17" Mustang Bullit wheels 4 for $40 and I missed it. Also missed a 175A Lincoln Mig welder(or AC/DC arc welder, owner didn't know) for $75. At that price I didn't care which welder it was although I initially contacted thinking it was the arc. Also missed a $200 Mac roll-around. Oh well.

Ususally when I see one of those " too good to be true" deals, I bounce the phone number off of the White Pages reverse lookup. Funny how an ad place in the NJ Craigslist has a Washington state exchange.

I paid $1300 for a snap on KRL 1003 with a stainless top and brand new vinyl cover, found on Craigslist. There are legit deals that some may think would be "too-good-to-be-true".

Yeah some are bogus, but ones like this seem hard to pull off since you can go and look over the item first. When I talked on the phone to the seller it sounded like an elderly woman... makes me think that she didn't know what she had.
