Door entry chime / alert

I use an older door entry alert in my shop for the main entrance door. I used this for a long time, but they wear out very quickly. The door opens, it dings in the shop and the door closes. https://edwards-signals.com/index.cfm?pid=166

I replaced that door a few months ago and used one of these for the door switch. It work great except now it dings when the doors opens and dings a second time when the door closes. It drives me up the wall http://www.morrisproducts.com/pc_product_detail.asp?key=42AEF522FD2D46819B8166F4C3E05E98

I seen/heard in other peoples homes that have sort of chime whenever a door is opened in their house but it's part of an alarm package, which I don't want.

I thought about a motion sensor but I don't want the constant ding for those times when someone stands in view of the beam.

We use one very similar on the entrance of our business,found it a Lowes and has been in service for about 8 years,the one we have uses a small battery. HRP

^^^ I tried a photo eye before. The trouble with those is that if someone stands in the beam and doesn't move, the alarm or chime stays on. It's annoying.
